K & K Landscaping Inc. takes an IPM ( Integrated Pest Management) approach. What this does is minimizes the amount of chemical required to keep your lawn healthy and weed free and in turn create a significantly less impact on the surrounding environment for your pets and family.

Five Step Program:
Early Spring
(Pre-emergent, crabgrass control with balanced fertilizer) Helps your lawn come out of dormancy with maximum green-up and minimal top growth, while preventing season long crabgrass control along with many other annual weeds.
Late Spring
(Balanced, controlled fertilizer and broadleaf weed control) This will improve the density of your lawn, as well as control broadleaf weeds such as dandelions and clover.
Summer
(Slow release fertilizer with micro nutrients) This Enables the grass to absorb nutrients through the drought, stress months. This step increases decomposition of organic matter and keeps your lawn green, as well as providing maximum recovery from drought and stress.
Early Fall
(Balanced, controlled-release fertilizer with broadleaf weed control) Enables a speedier recovery from summer stress, provides weed control and improves the general appearance of the lawn.
Late Fall
(Complete winter fertilizer, encourages root growth) Enables lawn to absorb more nutrients in order to survive over the long winter months while simultaneously preparing for spring.
Note: Crabgrass control may be applied on the second application due to ground temperature. We will also spot treat for any broadleaf weeds that appear throughout the season due to heavy rain or turf damage.
Optional Services:
Grub Control
We highly recommend this extra service to ensure your lawn does not get widespread turf damage due to grubs. We provide the safest, most effective way of controlling grubs with one application applied in Mid-June to Late July, providing season long control.
Core Aeration and Seeding
Removal of soil and thatch plugs through a mechanical process to increase air circulation and the availability of water and nutrients to the root system while naturally reducing the thatch layer.
Liming
Increases PH, enhancing nutrient availability, which reduces lawn disease and drought stress.
WE ALSO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND INSTALLATION, HARDSCAPING, PONDS, PONDLESS WATERFALLS, BED MAINTENANCE, LIGHTING, AND SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
